Operating Instruction
1.The input impedance of ac Voltage range of the digital multimeter to be used with the Current Probe must be 1M, and the multimeter's ac Voltage measurement range to be used must be 2V ac.
2.Connect the output plugs of Current Probe to the ac voltage input terminals of the multimeter.
3.Set the rotary switch of the multimeter to the desired ac voltage measurement range position, make sure that the selected range is not higher 2V ac for accurate measurement.
4.Press the trigger and clamp the jaws around the conductor to be measured. Release the trigger slowly.
Note:
1. Clamp only on conductor.
2. The conductor should be in the center of the jaws and should be perpendicular to the Current Probe.
5.Read the voltage reading of the multimeter. Then calculate the current of the conductor by using the formula:
I= Reading / 1mV/ A
(In this formula, I is the current of the conductor, Reading the voltage reading of the multimeter.)
